In-house, we are building groups of scientists with advanced capabilities in the areas of medicinal chemistry, disease biology, and translational research. Last year, we launched our first Innovation Center in CIC/Boston to strengthen our capabilities in the space of fast-growing gene therapy field and network into bio ecosystems there. Key responsibility:

•     Lead teams of small molecule discovery and process development of new/generic drugs in designing, synthesizing, and characterizing novel small molecules targeting specific biological pathways or disease mechanisms.

•     Lead the preparation of project plans, progress reports, and presentations for internal meetings and external stakeholders

•     Cross-functional collaboration with interdisciplinary departments and teams with excellent written and verbal communication skills

•     Stay current with the latest advancements in medicinal chemistry, relevant technologies, and industry trends through literature review and participation in scientific conferences

•     Actively engaged in due diligence for the external business development opportunities

•     Report to the head of Research Headquarter

Required qualifications:

•     Ph.D. degree with strong Postdoctoral training

•     Expertise in the discovery/development of chemical drugs

•     Fluent in Korean and English

Preferred qualifications:

•     Over 5 years of experience in the R&D of the global pharmaceutical industry

•     Experience with NCE in global pharmaceutical companies or biotech in US or Europe

•     Experience in TPD/Molecular Glue, ADC payloads, AL/ML approach strongly preferred
