In-house, we are building groups of scientists with advanced capabilities in the areas of medicinal chemistry, disease biology, and translational research. Last year, we launched our first Innovation Center in CIC/Boston to strengthen our capabilities in the space of fast-growing gene therapy field and network into bio ecosystems there. Key responsibility:

•     Lead teams engaged in basic research/preclinical & translational research in the field of oncology (primary) and inflammation diseases

•     Lead the preparation of project plans, progress reports, and presentations for internal meetings and external stakeholders

•     Cross-functional collaboration with interdisciplinary departments and teams with excellent written and verbal communication skills

•     Stay current with the latest advancements in oncology or immunology, biological assay technologies, and industry trends through literature review and participation in scientific conferences

•     Actively engaged in due diligence for the external business development opportunities

•     Report to the head of Research Headquarter

Required qualifications:

•     Ph.D. degree with strong Postdoctoral training

•     Expertise in basic research/ preclinical/ translational research in the field relevant to at least one of oncology or immunology/inflammation areas

•     Fluent in Korean and English

Preferred qualifications:

•     Over 5 years of experience in the R&D of the global pharmaceutical industry

•     Experience with NCE/NBE/ATMP in global pharmaceutical companies or biotech in US or Europe

•     Experience in preclinical/translational research on ADC, DDR or xRNA/Genetic Medicines strongly preferred
